As a sports photographer, I try to attend as many sports photography workshops as I can throughout the year. Learning never stops in any genre of photography so this year I decided to attend Bill Howard‘s and Nick Faulkner’s workshop in Wilson, NC. Along with the classroom aspect of the workshop we were able to cover a mens and womens college basketball conference game. I have never covered a basketball game before so I was excited about this new challenge. Not being much of a basketball fan, I was never drawn to the sport, but after shooting this game and seeing the images I am looking forward to covering more games. Lots of fun and I got some great images from it.
